About School of Gender (SoG)
SoG, part of Piramal School of Leadership, partners with JEEViKA (Bihar State Rural Livelihood Mission) to strengthen Cluster Level Federations (CLFs). Focus: capacity enhancement for JEEVika Didis, non-farm livelihood, PRI-CBO convergence via GPDP/Gram Sabhas, and digital transformation
Position Summary
The Business System Analyst – Domain Expert will serve as a strategic technology partner to Government Stakeholders, providing expert guidance on process optimization and digital transformation. The role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to design and implement solutions that strengthen operational governance and service delivery. The incumbent will work closely with JEEVikA’s leadership and technical teams across districts in Bihar, serving as a bridge between business requirements and technological solutions.
Key Objectives
- Conduct a comprehensive technical diagnostic of JEEViKA’s existing technology landscape and identify optimization opportunities
- Design process improvements and technological interventions aligned with JEEViKA’s strategic goals
- Strengthen digital infrastructure to enable better information flow, data-driven decision-making, and governance
- Support the adoption of NRLM platforms (LoKOS) and facilitate seamless integration with existing systems
- Build organizational capacity for digital transformation through knowledge transfer and training
- Ensure process re-engineering recommendations support sustainable long-term impact and scalability
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Planning
- Analyze the existing technology ecosystem and evaluate effectiveness in supporting programmatic outcomes
- Develop a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with JEEViKA’s operational objectives
Process Design and Optimization
- Map current business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Design optimized processes that leverage technology for efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop system design solutions that integrate multiple entities and data sources
- Recommend solutions for digital adoption, monitoring tools, and data management
- Explore Use cases for AI integration
Change Management and Implementation
- Facilitate the change management process by helping stakeholders understand the impact of proposed changes
- Ensure recommended solutions align with JEEViKA’s strategic business objectives
- Coordinate implementation efforts across districts and organizational levels
Capacity Building and Knowledge Transfer
- Develop training materials and guidance documents for JEEViKA teams
- Document best practices and lessons learned
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and technical developers
- Facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams
- Coordinate with government bodies and align solutions with government objectives
Reporting and Deliverables
- Monthly progress reports on analysis, design, and implementation activities
- Technical diagnostic report with findings and recommendations
- Process optimization documents and standard operating procedures
- System design and technology roadmap document
- Training materials and capacity building resources
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6- 8 years of professional experience in business systems analysis, process design, or technology consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in complex technology environments and digital transformation initiatives
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in technical diagnostic and system assessment
- Track record of designing and implementing business process improvements
- Experience in data systems management and information governance
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizational hierarchies and geographic locations
- Experience in change management and organizational capacity building
- Background in working with government systems or public sector programs is highly desirable

. Work Environment and Travel
