Scope of work:

Background

Purpose of the Consultancy: The consultant will provide technical and strategic support to AIFT in strengthening the planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation of its disability inclusion and livelihood initiatives, with a focus on the ABLE and DI-verse programmes. The consultancy will provide technical inputs to the programme team, support quality implementation, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and contribute to timely and effective reporting and documentation of programme progress and outcomes.

The American India Foundation Trust (AIFT) implements programmes aimed at promoting disability inclusion, livelihoods, employment, and equal opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Through initiatives such as the ABLE and DI-verse programmes, AIFT works with organisations and stakeholders to strengthen inclusive practices, build awareness and capacity, and create opportunities for greater participation of persons with disabilities.

As these programmes involve multiple activities including organisation onboarding, assessments, certification, sensitisation, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, programme implementation, monitoring and documentation, specialised technical expertise is required to support the programme team and ensure quality and effective delivery.

AIFT therefore seeks to engage an experienced Technical Consultant to provide technical and strategic support across the programme lifecycle, strengthen implementation and stakeholder engagement, and contribute to improved programme outcomes and documentation.

This aligns closely with the existing SOW, which identifies the ABLE and DI-verse programmes as the focus of the consultancy.

Objective: To engage an experienced consultant to provide technical and strategic support to AIFT in strengthening the planning, implementation, monitoring, and quality of its disability inclusion and livelihood programmes, particularly the ABLE and DI-verse programmes.
